About the Pathway Report
Pathway is one of the few available academically validated software tools to help students make informed decisions regarding their future third-level education and career path. It acts as a gateway to new & insightful conversations between students and parents, and helps students explore options they may never have considered previously. The Pathway survey acts as a validation tool for students who already have a career path in mind and focuses recommendations on specific courses under faculty areas in third-level institutions.
Get Started
Pathway is an online career planning tool developed for students, aiding in the decision-making process when looking at third level education and potential future careers. Designed around what the student enjoys, Pathway considers several key variables unique to each person, including the student’s favourite subjects in school, their hobbies, interests, passions and finally, their unique decision-making style. All these factors are combined to provide students with an array of different third-level courses best suited to them.
Get Direction
Pathway provides direction to students at a critical time in their lives when they have some exciting decisions ahead. It works by clearly outlining the courses and faculty areas best suited to the student’s interests, providing the student with a panoramic view of the possibilities available to them, filtering out external influences and realigning their internal compass.
Get Your Report
Each student that completes the Pathway survey receives a personalised Pathway report that documents the career options most suited to them. Not only does Pathway help students, but it also assists parents and career guidance counsellors when discussing future career options with their children and/or students, by allowing them to engage in discussions around the report options presented and be fully supportive in the decisions made by the students, confident that they will be happy in their choices.
In addition, Pathway serves as an opportunity for corporate organisations and universities to engage with the community and fulfil their corporate social responsibility by providing employees and community groups with the option of introducing Pathway to their children and family members, thus encouraging more informed discussions and opportunities for third level education in households and contributing toward a more skilled workforce in generations to come and higher levels of employability in future.
